We are busily working away on our Fur Trading Post projects at school today! Everyone is doing a great job! The due date of this project is DECEMBER 10TH. All students will present that day. Every Monday and Tuesday until then I will give the class about an hour to work on their project. I encourage you to ask your child to show you the criteria (as it lays out exactly what they need to do) and ask them what parts they have done/haven't done. There are 3 parts to this project. A map, a written portion (which I am encouraging to be either in the form of google slides or a poster board), and a visual portion (either a birds-eye-view drawn picture or a 3D diorama). I have told the students that the written portion should take the most timer, and should be completed before they work on their visual portion. Although this is an at school project as we get closer to December 10th I anticipate some students needing to work on their project at home in order to get it done on time. The project must be completed by December 10th and presented on that day as I need to have everything marked and back to your children before Winter Break! Also, if your child is working on their project at home (which is great!) please remind them to bring some part of their project to school each Monday and Tuesday so that they are able to work on it during class time.
If you have any questions (or your child has any questions) please feel free to email me!! Karlee :)
