No math check in Please hand in soapstone carving form and 11$ Great day skating and we were in awe of experiments today...We learned about generation electricty through motion on a bike...creating a motor withe batteries and copper, making hydroelectricity with a homemade maching and a hose with water, We also learned about motion energy and how potential energy moves to kinetic and how wind energy potential can be measured through the bend of trees.

Student led conferences Drop In from 1-6 Lots of Inquiry/ design work hapening today with paddle boards and electric snap circuits Spelling Today: Science Projects due Thursday March 15 Student Led Conference Open House on Thursday March 8th. Let your child walk you through some learning. 1pm-6pm Students are working on a STEM project. They are trying to figure out how to create a small boat and use an elastic to move it along the water 3 feet. They have tried their first trial and are going to try a second round. They were encouraged to think of a way to improve their design this weekend. Science Energy project due on March 15th (extra week to work on a science experiment. Please help them document the process by taking photos. |
